Deferred Retirement Option Program Retirement Planners, Incorporated, is an insurance agency established to assist Deferred Retirement Option Program (DROP) participants in making prudent choices for the selection of their DROP payout option method at retirement.

Since 1983, our agency has assisted State of Florida employees by explaining the pension maximization alternative to their retirement benefits.

Upon the implementation of the Florida Deferred Retirement Option Program Program in 1998, our agency became actively involved in presenting and explaining the DROP program through direct mail and seminars.

Now that Deferred Retirement Option Program participants are retiring, DROP Retirement Planners, Inc. will be recommending the Direct Rollover Option, utilizing the "split annuity" concept which includes:

Immediate Annuity - providing supplemental income to the Florida Retirement Monthly Benefit.

and

Deferred Annunity - to ensure growth potential for the enhancement of DROP and Terminal Leave Accumulation.
